bees are hardworking . . .
*
they are hardworking
and a delight to see
but even they eventually
get damaged and hurt,
sometimes accidentally,
their departure is a loss
to nature and to us . . .
*
The Queen's Bee Keeper
informed the bees
that their Queen had passed away
on Friday, it is an old tradition
that the bees are informed
of their master's departure . . .
and although an old and
rather strange tradition
it's an interesting one :)
*
the Queen had a wonderful
sense of humour . . and I think
and hope she would smile
when I say . .
when the beekeeper told the
bees the news of her passing
it caused quite a "buzz"

beverley has replied to Schussentäler clubsadly yesterday a tiny little bee died, I brought him
in and gave him some honey, I think he got cold
and sadly later in the evening, he died . . it made
me very sad . . but I did my best for him . . now he
is buried in the garden amongst the flowers and
where he will hear his friends buzzing around !
