Red Star Train Graveyard
Several years ago there were much more locomotives in this abandoned railway graveyard, among others the famous "Red Star Locomotive", which gave the location its nickname. Actually there are many existing steam locomotives with a red star, MAV 424 class, not only the one, which was the star in this depot. Today only one steam locomotive is left, besides of some tenders and many wagons. Obviously they removed many pieces because of the extreme decay of the roof.

Red Star Train Graveyard - No. 326.267
Its Austro-Hungarian origins clearly evident, No. 326.267 is a double-framed 0-6-0 goods locomotive, built 1892 by MAVAG. It is now the only steam locomotive remaining in the "Red Star Train Graveyard" - unfortunately.
