what I meant ironically was, that authorities, churches etc. want to impose and convince us with such gigantomaniac buildings in a way, that we, the "people", believe in their power and their truthfullness (full of awe, without further thinking).

Nevertheless, such buildings are great scenes for the photographer ;-)

It's quite an imposing building nevertheless and the small human silhouette in the foreground seems.. overpowered ..(!).. by its symbolism !!:))

the 'messages' of such buildings, churches or government buildings, is always the same. firstly, we are mighty and we have the power, and you are small and have to obey. secondly, in this building 'lives' something great, special, valuably, adorable. but there's a big gap between messages and the truth........
