Scotland St. Cuthbert's Way (PiP)
Wooler is a small town in Northumberland, England. It lies on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, near the Cheviot Hills. It is a popular base for hikers and is known as the "Gateway to the Cheviots". In addition to many shops and pubs, the city has a youth hostel, many hotels and campsites. The hostel is located on St Cuthbert's Way between Melrose Abbey and Lindisfarne.
Today we will relax, take a walk in the city and have a look around.

St Mary's Church of England Wooler, dates from 1764 and was extended in 1913 with the addition of the choir. The building contains remarkable Victorian windows in the nave and some exceptional 20th century glass paintings in the sanctuary. Many objects in the church are gifts in memory of people or events and give an insight into social history.
