Arlequin Photographi… club has replied to The Limbo Connection clubEven though Gothic architecture is clearly distinct from other architectural styles, it is in turn so diverse in its various orientations: Early Gothic, High Gothic, Late Gothic, Brick Gothic, Post-Gothic, Flamboyant style, Rayonnant, etc. So there is always something new to discover.
Before the First World War, the cathedral still had numerous original colored glass windows from the 13th century in the higher sections of the central nave, in the choir and in the transept.
I don't like the three glass windows by Marc Chagall in the Axis Chapel at all - others love them. They are just too dark for me.
