It's so nice to people out enjoying the winter sunshine.................especially in such a stunning location.

Beautifully composed with fantastic reflections. The snow-capped peaks make a really majestic backdrop. I like the silhouetted tree branches especially!

Na ja, zumindest sieht es auf dem Bild so aus, Volker. Am oberen Bildrand würden die dunklen Wolken anfangen und wie du siehst, sind die Menschen nicht von der Sonne beschienen.
Durch die Spiegelung wirkt die ganz Szene viel sonniger als es in Wirklichkeit war. ;-) Schön war's trotzdem!

gorious scene. you've really shown the feel of hanging out there so well. the reflections are perfect and the people are in interesting moments. it feels like you used a slightly low angle to take this from - that makes it just right. ah switzerland! i loved being there. thanks for the memory (though i was never in that exact spot). i think it's the only place i don't mind being in cold weather.

Many thanks, Laura! Your're right, I used the very low angle for two different reasons. With a higher angle there would have been much less color and much more of the browny grey of the stones in this image. I also wanted to show the reflection of the mountains in the puddle. Given the distance, this was only possible because of the low angle.
I am pleased that the picture brings back fond memories for you!
