Alpen-Krokus (Crocus vernus subsp. albiflorus)
Der niedrigwüchsige Alpen-Krokus (Crocus albiflorus) wächst auf feuchten Wiesen oberhalb von 600 Metern und ist eine der ersten Blumen, die im Frühling herauskommen. Er kann dünne Schneedecken durchstoßen. Seine Farbe reicht von fast weiß über helles bis zu sattem violett.
