Blüten der Phalaenopsis - Gelbe Orchidee
Die Gattung Phalaenopsis gehört zur Familie der Orchideen (Orchidaceae) und umfasst eine Vielzahl exotischer Arten. Der botanische Name leitet sich von den griechischen Wörtern phalaina (φάλαινα; dt. „Nachtfalter“, vgl. Phaläne) und opsis (ὄψις; dt. „Anblick“) ab, da ihre Blüten an tropische Nachtfalter erinnern. Im deutschen Sprachraum werden diese Orchideen auch „Schmetterlingsorchidee“, „Nachtfalter-Orchidee“[ genannt. (WiKi)

Ma questa orchidea ha qualcosa di speciale con il suo colore giallo - leggermente verdastro e l'interno leggermente arancione - ed è per questo che la amo.
