The Financial Tower in Ho Chi Minh city? Oh, the irony-- ;)

This photo does not show the bank (office) building but an adjacent high-rise.
Land is very expensive in Vietnam.

Why irony? "Bitexco Financial Tower" has cost $ 300 million. And in Saigon, 40% of foreign trade of the nation Vietnam has operated. Please notice 80 million inhabitants
get up early and work there diligently. An increasingly export of products such as coffee rice seafood, textiles, processed natural stones, or electronics. .e.g.... and in addition tourists from all over the world (not only former US soldiers)

Well, because that sort of economic system was hardly what Ho was fighting for! (That rumbling you hear is him rolling in his grave--) The US hardly needed to squander blood and treasure "fighting communism" in Vietnam--it has effectively collapsed all by itself.

Every age has its heroes - and the young Vietnamese want to know not much of Uncle Ho

It is also not jet a real communist country. There are also elites in dealing with a lot of money and influence. A Western foreigners always have to remember two things:
1) China has tried to colonize Vietnam for centuries.
2.) Communism in Vietnam has accepted Buddhism, Confucianism and ancestor worship.
