Most of the walkways seem to radiate out from the central Church, so there could be no excuse for not attending when it rained.

one of a few Road Arches which appeared to provide covered walkways for the residents into the centre of the town. This seemed to indicate a likelihood of sudden rain possible.

The new town of Guatavita, beautifully made and a typical Spanish style construction. Our first stop on this trip.

This is an artificial lake as a result of a dam providing water for Bogota. Before it was made, Guatavita was a small town in the valley. The residents were all provided with a modern new town on the side of the lake as compensation.

Early morning and overcast meant taking pictures from the Coach was difficult, but there was a lot of roadside sales going on as we passed.

The "Sanctuary of Montserrate" is a large Catholic Church at the mountain top which overlooks Bogota.

Heading out of the city to a nearby mountain for the next stop. This included a cable-car ride up the mountain-side.
