Mellinus arvensis female
Whilst walking near Nipstone in Shropshire I came across an old wall, now mostly collapsed but home to a large aggregation of Mellinus arvensis that were busy bringing flies back to their nesting burrows. The flies serve as food for the wasps larvae.
