Brick on bricks
Brick Lane: once the home of the recently arrived Jewish immigrants, now a home of the Bangladeshi community in London, as the street name sign demonstrates. The bricks upon which these signs are fixed are part of the Brick Lane Mosque, formerly the Brick Lane Synagogue.

Neither kosher nor halal !
Neither the former inhabitants of this street (mainly Jewish) nor the present ones (mainly Bangladeshi Moslems) would have eaten bacon!

Sign in the 24 hour beigel shop in London's Brick Lane.
Note "Dz" is short for "dozen", that is, "12". See also: www.ipernity.com/doc/adam/1564515
