Studied 1876-78 at the Conservatory in Zurich and 1878-80 at Munich singing Carl Gloggner and Adolf Schimon, 1880-89 engaged court theater Munich, Debut as Page Urbain in Meyerbeer's "Les Huguenots" 1889-1910 engaged at the Imperial Opera Berlin; 1883 repeated performances at the Bayreuth Festival, in several European cities, 1899/1900 also at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. In Switzerland, ion. Her repertoire was immense (about a hundred opera roles); but she also worked as an oratorio and concert singer.
