The blue and white façade keeps the style of the old building on that corner. The rest of the building is rather dull. This was done in 2022, at Vaz Monteiro Street, corner with Freiras Transverse Street, Ponte de Sor.

Rearrangement of a large area where once was installed a grinding plant. On the outline of this area some details of that past - walls, gables and a chimney - were preserved.

Initially it was destinated to the monks of the Order of the Hospitallers; during the Renaissance period it was affected to the Order of Malta, until being abandoned in the 18th century. Restored in the 20th century, it became a charm hotel at Flor da Rosa - a civil parish of Crato.
