Cesária Évora Museum.
This museum occupies part of the ground-floor of the People's Palace, at Mindelo, São Vicente Island, Cape Verde. Unlike the rest of the exhibitions in the palace, with no photos allowed and requiring paid entrance, the access to this museum is free and photos are allowed.
You can see there many photos, many covers of Cesária Évora's records, many newspaper clippings about her and her shows, a lot of show posters, many personal belongings and the dresses she used in her shows. In this photo you can barely see the dress used in 1998 in a concert at Cameroon and, in the bottom, the one used in 2002 on a concert at Chelyabinsk, Russia. The narrow gangway makes difficult a fair perspective; a closer approach would imply unwelcome reflections on the glass.
