The ship was launched in 1980 at the Karlskronavarvet shipyard, Sweden and served with the Swedish Coast Guard as KBV-171 until 2000. In 2000 it was transferred to the Belgian Navy, where it was renamed Stern (A963) and was used as a patrol/utility vessel until 2014.
Since 2014 she is owned by Sovereign Charterers Ltd, flies the Mongolian flag and is offered for charter with or without crew.
Construction GRP sandwich, length 49.90 m, width 8.52 m, draught 2.9 m, displacement 378 tons, propulsion 2240 HP, speed 18.5 knot, range 3000 nm. 2 Hedemora 16 cylinder diesel main engines, 2 Volvo Penta diesel electric generators. (IMG_0213).
