WP1878 WPG - VIEW OF NORTH WINNIPEG
Unposted, the stamp box on the reverse of this card indicates that it is from the 1904 - 1918 period. Entitled "View of North Winnipeg", it is likely being taken from a spot near the corner of Kennedy and Broadway - with a view to the north east.
The building on the right would be Alexandra School, located at the S.E. corner of Edmonton Street & St. Mary Avenue. Behind it and towards the left would be Eatons.
No photographer or publisher is identified.

WP1887 WPG - LEAVING WINNIPEG (COWBOY)
Posted: September 4, 1916 from Heward, SK to Parma, MI
Publisher not evident.
A typical coming or going portrait. I'm speculating that these were likely produced by photographers in or very near the railway stations. (Note: the woollen chaps appear to be a stationary part of the "set" for the photo.

WP1911 WPG - CITY OF WINNIPEG LETTER CARRIERS 1910
Posted February 18, 1911 from Winnipeg to Makaroff, MB
Publisher / Photographer: Foote Photo (See very bottom of image)
An interesting image with head shots of the Winnipeg Letter Carriers of 1910.
The centre of the card has a picture of the Winnipeg Post Office on Portage Avenue. Above it is a sketch of a letter carrier and his satchel below what appears to be the seal of the Letter Carriers Association - featuring an envelope in-hand and a beaver. Below it is a sketch of a woman placing a letter in a mail box. Portraits of five men encircle the post office picture - all officers of the Letter Carriers Association.
At the top is W.M. Burrows - Dominion President. To the left of Mr. Burrows is F. Rogers - Manitoba President and to the right is J.V. Johnston - Manitoba Vice President. Below them, left to right, are: E. Fuller - Secretary and A. R. McGregor - Treasurer.
It is likely that all these photos were taken in October, 1910 when W. M. Burrows was in town. An excerpt from the September 28, 1910 edition of the Winnipeg Tribune reads: "The Letter Carriers' association will be addressed at its next monthly meeting by the Dominion president, W. M. Burrows, on the Trades Congress and its work. The body is also arranging to hold a social in connection with the affair."
The Letter Carriers portrayed are (left to right) from top of the picture:

Winnipeg Tribune article on Lindenlee - 28 Dec 1935 p12
In researching the history of the house depicted as the I.O.D.E Convalescent Home at Donald & Broadway, this 1935 article by Lillian Gibbons provided most of the historical information. Anyone interested in greater detail on the house itself will enjoy reading this. Just click on the image to magnify it - and select full-screen viewing.
(Thanks to Wintorbos for securing this image for me.)

WP1918 WPG - (CHINESE GENT, LIKELY WINNIPEG)
Date: Posted May 11, 1905
Publisher / Photographer: Not evident.
On classic early Velox postcard stock, this card was posted from Winnipeg to a Lewis H.Dwinell in Stoughton, Assiniboia (now SK)
While it is likely, there is nothing in the image to confirm that the photo was taken in Winnipeg,
The handwritten note reads: "Lee Ping Chop Suey. Thanks for your letter - thought you would like a reminder of our old mutual friends Chef. - J.W.S.
Winnipeg-based or not, I am quite taken with this image - both the personage of this Chinese gent and the cast iron detail on this old wood stove.
Of interest in the image:
* The wood is piled into a wooden crate reading "CONDENSED MILK".
