Notation: There are many shots of the Union Station, but most leave out any visual inclusion of the Strathcona Block - the north east corner of which is showing on the right.

Very true. Looks as though construction may not quite be finished on the station -- there seems to be some sort of pulley device that is lifting something on to the roof. The number of horses vs. no autos suggests that the image might be 1909 or so (I forget when Union Station was actually completed - around then?)

It was several years in the making. Didn't open until 1912!

Yes, I guess it's 1911 or 1912 because Lyall has some that look like they were taken around the time construction was wrapping up and they would have to be 1911 at latest.
