Das Kloster Lüne ist ein ehemaliges Benediktinerinnenkloster - heute evangelisches Damenstift - und wurde 1172 gegründet. Es rekrutierte seine Nonnen zumeist aus den einflussreichen Lüneburger Patrizierfamilien und beherbergte während des größten Teils seines Bestehens bis zu 60 Frauen.
