Der Turm St. Johannis....

Der Turm St. Johannis....
...gesehen vom Wasserturm Lüneburg.
Nach einem Brand durch Blitzschlag im Jahre 1406 wurde der Turm neu errichtet (Vollendung 1408). Er wirkt von allen Seiten aus schief, da der Dachstuhl im oberen Bereich korkenzieherartig verformt ist. Die Turmspitze ist 220 cm aus dem Lot.

Im Hintergrund die St. Nicolai Kirche.
