This image was taken in a valley just west of Grasslands National Park, during an evening photo shoot. I had recently added a wide angle lens to my kit, and this scene called out for it.

Thank you, David. This area was carved out by glacial action. The hills were formed as the last glacier retreated, about 10,000- 12,000 years ago. The Frenchman River that runs through this valley is a remnant of the much larger glacial spillway that would have run through here. The large stones you see in the lower left are called glacial erratics; debris that the retreating glacier left behind on the surface. Stay well
