valley bottom land in fog
Fog had settled in the Qu'Appelle Valley overnight, as the temperature dropped to 2C. The south rim of the valley is visible in the distance. The valley was a glacial meltway about 12,000 years ago, and the bottom land is very fertile. The present-day Qu'Appelle River meanders through the bottom land.
