A shed at Kirkenes fishing harbour, the note shows that Murmansk is much nearer than Oslo;-)
Kirkenes Harbour
Russian trawler Mekhanik Sergej Agapov at Kirkenes. Kirkenes is only 150km from Murmansk as the crow flies, but nearly 2000km from Oslo.
Storm clouds over Barents sea
These ominous looking clouds turned into a full storm in the Barents sea, reaching 49 kn round Nordkinn peninsula.

After the storm
Frozen seawater on MS Nordnorge after a rough crossing of Lopphavet. The kitchen and restaurant had considerable breakages during the ride;-) See inset photos!

On board MS Nordnorge in Harstad harbour- in the middle of a snow storm. The icicles consisted of frozen sea water.
