Presumably the driver got help, as this is in front of a café and filling station - even though it's in the middle of nowhere!

Þetta reddast (it will work out alright) as Icelanders like to say;-)

Our bus got stuck in an official beach parking lot. The driver googled the nearest farm, called them and they came with a tractor and pulled him out. We missed the fun because we went for a walk in the meamtime.

...kenne ich aus Irland und Schottland, nur hatte ich keine Zwillingsbereifung, aber es gab immer hillfsbereite Bauern mit Traktoren :-)) Immer schön Gas geben und weiterbuddeln .

Danke vielmals, Tanja! ich vermute, im Sommer kommt der weg.Den hat's wahrscheinlich bei Eis, Schnee und Wind von der Straße genommen und die haben ihn hierhin abgeschleppt- das ist der einzige bewohnte Ort (Hof) im Umkreis von vielen km....

Danke vielmals, Guido! Meine Vermutung- der ist bei Eis, Schnee, Wind irgendwo von der Straße abgekommen, der Bauer hier hat ihn abgeschleppt und die kaputte Karre bleibt bis zum Frühjahr stehen.
