A fabulous series Gudrun............the Aurora are absolutely stunning..........and judging by the look of the stars you had the exposure time just right. The images are pretty clean and clear considering the high(ish) iso.

Thanks a lot, Keith! On land I would have dialed down the ISO to ca. 1600 but aboard a moving ship you have to keep shutter times down or you end up with squiggles for stars;-)

Thanks a lot, George! I kept the exposure time down as much as possible, 1 sec. just about did the trick in calm seas. Plus we still had some shelter at the mouth of the fjord.
