il pleuvait à verse hier dans le Ried : grâce à l'Indien, nous avons réussi à apercevoir ces daims quelques secondes...
ce n'est pas un parc animalier...mais la forêt dense dans laquelle ils vivent...sauvages et libres

yes : there is definitely...
someone who is rather wild, (well , quite wild would be more appropriated) and in total harmony with Nature and wild animals
and the Ried is the flat area in between Germany and france... which is rich with alluvions since it's overflooded every year
maybe you can find the explanation on the web ...explanation of the term "Ried" coming from the word "reed"
