Bolton Abbey

Bolton Abbey in Wharfedale, North Yorkshire, England, takes its name from the ruins of the 12th-century Augustinian monastery now known as Bolton Priory. The priory closed in the 1539 Dissolution of the Monasteries ordered by King Henry VIII.

Ach Träumle...echt! Nun mal in Groß! Da passt ja alles...Wetter, Wolken, Narzissen und Motiv!
Der Bogen ist der Hammer...und diese herrlich unaufgeräumten Gräberfelder sind toll. Auf den Steinen stehen da die Worte, die wir mühsam als Traueranzeige in Zeitungen setzen, die eh keiner liest :)

Superbly composed. The ruins of the abbey look wonderful in the sunshine and the graveyard makes good foreground interest. I like the splashes of colour amongst the gravestones from the flowers.
