I like that you revisit your pictures in the light of new developing techniques and also, of course, the development of your own vision. The monochrome version works well as it not only irons out any blemishes but softens the tones and balances the tanned skin with the pale. This is good.

Thank you. You put it very well. I am learning new things and using better tools. Moreover, my tastes are changing - I had little time for B&W until recently. The difference in the tone of the two skin types was accentuated by the photograph. It was nowhere near as noticeable to the eye on that day. I am not versed in Photoshop but I think it could be useful in isolating the dancers from the background. More work for another occasion!
