My Cat
I do not have a cat and so, when faced with an overwhelming urge to take a photograph during a spell of inclement weather, I use this as a subject instead. It's a kind of surrogate cat. I have noticed it is not as animated as a proper cat, but often it is not possible to discern much movement in a cat anyway. Hence the popularity of cats as subjects for photographers. QED.
