Carignano - Santuario del Valinotto
A small chapel existed here, before Antonio Faccio, jurist, banker and owner of the estate around, commissioned architect Bernardo Antonio Vittone with the construction of this church in 1738.
Antonio Faccio wanted this as a "gift for the peasants and his estate". The church is known for the interior artful cupola and the frescoes, but it was locked when we arrived.
