Cognac - DeRobert & The Half Truths

During three warm long summer nights, the festival "La Fête du Cognac" perfectly combines local food, lovely wines, cognacs (!) and interesting music. Thanks to about 450 volunteers this is a great place to have a good time together with many locals.

We had seen and listened to DeRobert & The Half Truths already a year ago in Saint Paul Trois Chateaux, where the had their first show in Europe. Though the brass session of the backing band was smaller this year, DeRobert performed a warm, raw soul - with power. He got the audience dancing.
