Ginoles - WE ARE MONGOLIA
We had finally passed the spectacular and very narrow "Gorge la Pierre-Lys" and spent the night in "Les Eaux Tranquilles" (Chris is an outstanding host!)
www.chambresdhote.com/index.htm
We passed Quillan next morning and headed west. The D117 ascends steeply and there are some nice hairpin bends. Here we found "WE ARE MONGOLIA". A local told us, that it was done by a Mongolian cycling team, preparing for the "Tour de France" in the foothills of the Pyrenees. But that may just be some nice gossip. The village in the valley below is Ginoles.
