Puy-l'Évêque - La Tour Episcopale

This is what is left of the fortified castle, that was owned by the Bishops of Cahors, who acquired this place in the early 13th century. "Bishop´s Tower" is still 23 meters high, overlooking the valley of the Lot. Since the French Revolution, the structure serves as the Mairie.
