Abandoned Former MPS 34.5kV - Blue Springs, MO

I found this about a a year or so ago, and I've been meaning to get a picture of it, but I keep forgetting or just don't have time. This is a Former Missouri Public Service 34.5kV that, (of course) is abandoned. Mostly likely was in the 90's by Aquila but I have no clue. I need to take a better look at this line. The main part of the line runs down US 40 HWY from Raytown, MO to Blue Springs, MO.

Former MPS 69kv and Former 34.5kv? - Warrensburg, MO

I saw this setup on the way back from a our C Team Football game in Warrensburg. Former Missouri Public Service 69kv over what I'm not for sure if this use to be a 34.5kv over Distribution or it was just built with left overs to carry the line or something, but I need to take a better look at this line when I go to Warrensburg again. It seems very interesting considering the fact the other poles are also have old distribution arms.

MPS Transmission Lines on 291 - Liberty, MO

Just a neither shot 69kv and the Old 34.5kv over 13.2kv or 12kv, facing North West this time. The previous was facing South West.

Former MPS Transmission Lines on 291 - Liberty, MO

Here is a 69kv, Former 34.5kv Sub-Transmission Lines and 12.47kv and 13.8kv Dis going and coming from a Substation farther down State 291 HWY. This is facing south. I also need to get a picture of sub because there is a big empty spot where the 34.5kv portion of the Substation use to be.

I’m not entirely sure if this substation has been decommissioned completely. This Sub use to run 34.5kv to (I’m assuming 4kv or 4160v.) years ago. I think it now runs 13kv or 12kv to 4kv now, I could be very well wrong. I was standing by the fence and I heard the Transformers still making a buzzing noise, so I’m a little bit confused now. This is one of very few 34.5kv “Pocket Subs” left on MoPub’s grid. I need to do a Line Safari in this area soon before KCP&L or IP&L decide to take down the rest of the 4kv System in this area.

Typical Junction Pole (I guess that's what you can call it.) with a Switch on both sides. You can find these what's left on the "Pocket Subs" in the Kansas City area. There are actually some operating at 34.5kv and still in service outside of Kansas City, mostly in the country of Missouri. 34.5 Sub-Transmission Line entering the Substation and a 4kv line leaving the Substation.

Two 4kv or 4160v Lines leaving the substation. Not for sure if the line on the other side is IP&L or MoPub's line. I think it's just MoPub's.
