Looking toward yesterday

Today's the first day of the Tanana Vally Alaska State Fair. As is usual for the 1st day of the Fair, the weather is cold and rainy. The short intense summer is almost gone. Sigh.




Hence to lighten my mood I painted this little beach scene. Watercolor and brushed ink on Strathmore's Bristol vellum, 9 by 12 inches.
