Nice ice fog
Driving home from town today, temperature around -30° F. (-34°C.), the ice fog was not too bad.
By the way on 18 January I did not darken my photos as per
___________
"A Flickr user has darkened this photo for up to 24 hours as a symbolic gesture to raise awareness about the potential impact of two pieces of pending U.S. anti-piracy legislation - SOPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (The Protect IP Act).
While the inclusion of this blackout screen is merely a symbolic gesture -- not an actual allegation that this photo violates any copyright -- a user wanted you to take note of the harmful impact these bills could have on innovation online. For more information see blog.flickr.net/."

-not because I disagree that the proposed law is pure censorship ( I do strongly agree), but because until and unless we start electing statesmen instead of politicians they will simply legislate the same censorship under another name or earmarked into another bill.
So! I feel killing the bill, is a good thing and will make us all feel a bit better, but that in the long run it is an exercise in futility unless we stay vigilant. I doubt that enough of us will do so.
I try to stay apolitical here on flickr, but this one time...
