Owls spit up hairballs too!
Yep, owls, like cats, spit up hairballs.
My granddaughter, Sanoe, has an owl's hairball that she just found in the yard in the blue pan ready for disection.
Later, when she dissected it (the hairball, not the owl), she found, from the bones and feathers contained therein, that the owl had eaten a grouse.
