Beyond here be dragons

No matter where, here on my own property in Alaska, traveling in the Orient or Europe, I've found if I keep my eyes open and turn enough corners I leave the mundane behind. Somewhere farther down the ill paved road, the untrod path, the dim game trail is a mystical, magical scene, an extraordinary phenomenon, an unearthly person, a chimeric beast that I'll never forget but that I'll never be able to explain or describe to another person with words.
