cls[24] - Sopwith "Tabloid"
These two gentlemen are in the process of hand-building a replica Sopwith "Tabloid" - they have drawings for the 1913 prototype [a side-by-side two-seater] although I understand that they seem to be working on a single seat version.
Gentleman on the left is wearing a WW1-era RFC sergeant's uniform.

attempts were made during 1915 to launch Tabloids from seaplane carriers such as HMS Ben-my-Chree [ex- IoMSPC] to intercept Zeppelins crossing the North Sea.
