VoR(M)[24] - Fire Queen {1 of 4}
The locomotive "Fire Queen" , built in 1848 by Horlock [Kent], for the 4ft gauge Padarn Railway, North Wales, working until 1886. She was preserved by John Smith MP in the late 1960s and displayed at Penrhyn Castle [National Trust] until January 2024, when she was moved for display to the Vale of Rheidol museum in Aberystwyth.

A wonderful and interesting picture, which I like very much!
Very nice composition.
When I saw this, I thought of Penrhym Castle, so thank you for telling us it is in Aberystwyth!
Best Wishes, HFF, a nice weekend , and stay safe!!
Peter
StoneRoad2013 club has replied to Peter_Private_Box clubI must admit that you can get a better view compared to the relatively cramped gallery at Penrhyn Castle. [which sort of makes up for the NT chucking her out from the Castle]
