A wide view looking towards the "Spanish City" complex at Whitley Bay.
Built in 1910 as "pleasure / winter gardens" with a permanent funfair and other facilities for entertainment etc. After failing into disfavour and hence becoming increasingly dilapidated, it closed in 1999. After much campaigning and fundraising, it was renovated 2011 to 2018, but lost the funfair to road improvements
