Mona's Queen was commissioned in 1934 - not sure how long it took to build her, probably a year ? as she was ordered in 1933.
However, she was requisitioned by the Admiralty. Her military service included Operation Dynamo, she brought 2,000 troops from Boulogne and 1,200 from Dunkirk to Dover, but she was lost on only her second trip in 1940, after striking a mine and catching fire on 29th May. She sank quickly, taking 24 for her crew with her ... the wreck is a war grave.
