dps[23] - far right is 'Sir John Williams'
Item of some interest on the far right of this image.
{1-23}
Richard Hornsby & sons No.6759 'Sir John Williams'
built in 1888 as an 8nhp "direct ploughing engine" and exported.
returned from Tasmania in 1992, restored in Somerset before relocating to Easingwold.
I don't recall seeing a Richard Hornsby full-size road steam vehicle previously. although it is in the 2022 rally handbook. note my visit last year was cut short by heavy rain ...
[to the left are the two Sentinel S4 steam waggons, the 10t A&P 'Kathleen' and in the background is the Brayshaw showman's living van].

Recently attended the postponed Chester-le-Street event, and saw these two S4 Sentinels having fun in the "playpen" - the one liveried as "Price's Bread" showed a real turn of speed.
