tbi - MCA certificate
I was wondering how many passengers "Maid of the Forth" was permitted to carry, so went looking for the MCA certificate ...
She can have a maximum of 225 persons on board, including 3 to 5 crew.
Not that many today !
Maid was built in 1998, is just over 19m in length and weighs 47 tons.
From another source gives the information that she was specially designed with access from both the main and top decks for passengers to use the Inchcolm landing stage.
