cvd - UK daily deaths (+ra), 30th June 2021

Despite the rapid and large increases in new cases, the number of daily deaths has remained low. It is probable that the vaccination rollout (starting with the most vulnerable) has damaged, if not broken, the link between infections and deaths [now about 1 death per 1000 cases and was 1 in 60 at the peak of the second wave].
