BR971 - corner plate with vertical grab rail
A retaining hoop from a headstock has been removed and is resting on the buffer housing. The corner plate has some bolts missing and is heavily corroded, especially at the second side plank up. Fire damage is most visible at the level of the top two planks (the greedy boards) with most of the top plank is missing.
