From football to frocks....Grayson Perry's Turner Prize dress
It's not all football on Rabbit's Liverpool itinerary. Here he is in the lovely Walker Gallery admiring some interesting frocks. The dresses were created by English artist Grayson Perry, who was awarded the Turner Prize in 2003 for his intricately decorated ceramics. Perry collected the Turner Prize wearing this dress which he embroidered with rabbits, some of them including the name 'Claire' - his transvestite alter ego. In his speech, Perry said 'it's about time a transvestite potter won the Turner!'.
Rabbit loved these little embroidered rabbits, and the gorgeous satin material.

I wish I was back in Liverpool
Rabbit in front of the 'three graces' - the Liver Building, the Cunard Building, and the Port of Liverpool building. It was a pretty stormy day, but we managed to take this in between rain showers.
A fence too! HFF!

I wish I was back in Liverpool, Liverpool town where I was born
Where there ain't no trees, no scented breeze, no fields of waving corn
But there's lots of girls with peroxide curls and the black and tan flows free
There's six in a bed by the old pier head and it's Liverpool town for me
Spring is in the air (Rabbit hopes) on the shore of Loch Leven
What a beautiful day today! It took us by surprise, after a dreich damp day yesterday and snow earlier in the week. If you walked quickly and stayed in the sun, it even felt warm!
Here is Rabbit enjoying the winter sun on his fur, by the shore of Loch Leven, between Kinross and the RSPB wetlands reserve at Vane Farm.

Happy willow Fence Friday!
Another lovely willow creation on the shore of Loch Leven, near the Vane Farm RSPB nature reserve. Happy willow Fence Friday to all!
Kinnoull Hill
A winter walk up to the splendid Kinnoull Hill on the outskirts of Perth. The tower is a 19th century folly - apparently intended as a replica of the towers along the Rhine in Germany. Down below is the River Tay winding its way to Dundee and the north sea.
