I saw this flower and its visitor in June 2014, in a park in Stuttgart (Germany).
The diameter of the flower is, as far as I remember, closer to 5 cm than to 10cm.

I saw this odd insect on a wire fence in the zoo of Stuttgart, Germany. It is small, about 10mm, I'd say.
