Flußpferdbulle (Opel-Zoo)

Ich war vielleicht 50cm entfernt vom Maul des Tieres. Zwischen ihm und mir war nur die Gehegemauer. Ich denke, ich hätte ihn sogar berühren können, aber seine Zähne sind doch ein wenig bedrohlich. ;-) Also habe ich lieber die Karotte geworfen.

Male hippo at the Opelzoo (Kronberg, Germany).

I was about 50cm away from the front of the animal's mouth. Between him and me was nothing but the wall of his enclosure. I think I could even have touched him, but his teeth are sort of forbidding... ;-) So I preferred throwing the carrot.
