As far as I know, this is the last Class 33 to work south of Sellafield. 33207 seen here at Saltcoats with the acid tanks from Runcorn to Sellafield.

Shredder
BRCW Type 3 number 6500, which later became 33001, at Southampton with a down freight. The CCTs in the bay and the BRUTES on the platform are all now consigned to history.

Redbridge
About 3 or 4 miles out of Southampton, and junction of the lines to Bournemouth and Weymouth, to the left, and Salisbury, to the right. The signalbox controls the road access into Redbridge Sleeper Works, whose tracks can be seen on the left. An unidentified BRCW Crompton Type 3 passes light engine heading west. Signalbox, Sleeper Works and Class 33 all now long gone.

Cross Country
BRCW Crompton Type 3 No 6516 calls at Southampton with the 1015 York - Poole. This loco later became 33104 under the TOPS renumbering scheme.

BRCW Class 66?
A westbound freight rolls through Eastleigh headed by BRCW Crompton Type 3s 6521+6506. These later became 33108 and 33006. Just above the second loco can be seen a vehicle of Hants and Dorset Motor Services turning into the bus station.

You've been framed!
Framed by the signal gantry at the country end of Southampton, BRCW Type 3 No 6521arrives with an Up train of vans. The loco was later renumbered to 33108, and can still be seen today, at Barrow Hill.
